Dit Slagelse har denne gang en skildring fra den fest i Slagelse, hvor studiestarten satte ind for hundredevis af nye studerende. Sten Knut og lokale musikere bidrog.
Like every year, a lot of university and students from Slagelse gathered to reveal “Study start – Slagelse 2017”. Despite the gloomy and rainy weather, nothing could prevent students from celebrating the new school year. Time has clearly shown that the end of summer has come and it is already time for school. Students from different cities in Denmark and even from different countries had gathered together to celebrate the start of the new school year. For the good mood, there was a special stage program.
Mayor Sten Knut started the party with a welcome speech, after which musical groups maintained the cheerful mood. Despite the rain, people enjoyed, danced and sang with the musical star Kaka. Everyone had the chance to enjoy free drinks and snacks as well as gift bags. Additionally, there were supplementary attractions, such as weightlifting and volleyball. ” The youngsters who are keen on sport also took part in the event.
The new students had the opportunity to tour and explore the city, as well as spend time together and get to know each other in a different environment than the classroom. ” With a drink in hand and surrounded by a good company, everyone was having fun as much as possible.
